Guarded by territorial seagulls, this cafe sits on the boardwalk in the centre of town, gazing upon the lake. Service is attentive, the coffee's decent and there's a wide-ranging menu nodding to Aussie, Asian and Mediterranean flavours: try beer-battered flathead, prawn nasi goreng or spaghetti with broccoli pesto.
A couple of child-sized dishes ($12.50) are served, too, though kids might be more interested in the cake counter…did someone spot the Golden Gaytime cheesecake?
