The Fumo site has seen a few restaurants in recent years, but this has ingredients for longevity, with a convivial, high-volume interior and a short, punchy menu of generously proportioned dishes that marry Australian protein with Japanese-influenced marinades to good effect. Some interesting small-producer wines and understated but pleasing decor add appeal.
