Located 8km west of the center in the upmarket Yerba Buena barrio, Casa Calchaquí is a welcome retreat. Comfortably rustic rooms surround a relaxing garden space with hammocks, bar service and a minipool. Yerba Buena has plenty of restaurants and nightlife, but isn't central. To get here grab a taxi or bus 102 or 118 from opposite the bus terminal.
The street is off Av Aconquija (at 1100): Banco Galicia is on the corner.
Bikes are available for hire. Ask about the guesthouse's rustic accommodations in a spectacular off-piste setting near Amaicha del Valle.
