La Calabaza

Quebrada de Humahuaca

Across the main road from Tilcara's center, this cute spot has a casual hippie vibe and friendly welcome. The view: just spectacular. There's a cabin with kitchen sleeping five, perfect for a family, and an adorable little double with views from the bed and tea/coffee facilities. There's a three-night minimum stay in summer. Breakfast is extra.

Remember to give Oso (the dog) some love. Charlie, one of the owners, has a gourd gallery behind the main owner residence, where he carves and paints. Steep discounts are available in the low season.
