In a visually striking location 13km from Tafí, surrounded by hills great for hiking and horseback riding, this estancia has only the lowing of cattle to disturb the tranquility. A historic Jesuit ranch, working farm and cheese factory, it offers superb accommodations in a 18th-century adobe complex. Public areas are wonderful; there are few better bases for relaxation hereabouts. The food is maso-menos (so-so).
