The indoor-outdoor setting overlooking picture-perfect vineyards at this upmarket, yet slightly corny, winery 3km from Cafayate makes a fine lunch stop. The sophisticated food doesn't disappoint. A range of international influences spice up the menu, and on weekends (when booking is advisable) staff fire up the outdoor grill with some of the finest parrilla in the northwest.

If you're vegan, choose among the vegetable sides and cobble together an inexpensive feast. The humitas is wonderful here.
