This huge gated development covers 7km of vines, golf course, and residential lots, most of them owned by extranjeros (foreigners) who come to golf and quaff wine. Rooms are spacious and well equipped, and the surrounding villas work well for family stays, with kitchens, barbecue areas and private patios. Bathrooms are romantic, with huge shower spaces and two-person tubs.
Golf carts and manicured lawns, though, give it all a retirement-village feel: suburban banality surrounded by scenic splendor.
The turnoff is 1.5km south of central Cafayate, from where it's another 3.5km to reception.
