Hostería ‘Restaurant del Puerto’

Top choice in Iguazú Falls & the Northeast

In what has a strong claim to be Colón’s loveliest house, this has characterful rooms decorated faithfully in the style of the 1880 building, with enormous windows, plenty of wood and noble rustic furniture. Family duplexes (US$110) are a good deal, as are midweek discounts. The restaurant serves good dinners, and there's an outdoor heated pool and Jacuzzi out back. No cards.

Rooms in the newer wing at the rear are cozier but slightly less atmospheric.
