Simple and elegant, in wide lakeside grounds, this lodge has bright white rooms with great beds and paintings by the owner. The emphasis is on relaxation (no TV), and staff pull it off, with friendly service, guided trips and good meals. You can really feel the nature here with capybaras wandering the grounds and caimans sunning themselves by the dock.
Rooms in the building closer to the lake are slightly more charming, those in the other building are more private. Only two rooms have air-conditioning so make a request upon booking if it's important.
