This place has been around longer than most, and is still a pleasing choice although it lacks the wetlands atmosphere of some of the lodges right by the edge of the lake. Surrounded by pines and eucalypts, it has a peaceful, hidden-away feel and is very family friendly. Rooms are colorful and rustic in feel, service is excellent and the pool decent-sized.
