La Cantina del Español

Mendoza & the Central Andes

Considering its setting, with vaulted ceilings housed in the basement of a grand colonial era building on the city's central plaza, this restaurant is a bit of a let down. Service can be painfully slow, nevertheless it gets crowded with regulars who come for the prawns and fish, as well as reasonably priced steaks.
