Café Margot

Buenos Aires

Opened in 1904, this classic cafe in the bohemian neighborhood of Boedo is a typically porteño spot to relax with a picada (a platter of cold cuts, cheese and olives) and a bottle of wine, or a frosty mug of beer and a sandwich piled high with sliced turkey.

The atmospheric main room is a bit snug; sidewalk tables are best for the claustrophobic.
