Okay, so it's a little run down and the hot water comes and goes, but the Suisse makes up for all that with bucket loads of 1930s period charm. There are arched doorways, a clanky old leather-lined elevator and a time warp bar with bottles of whisky gathering dust on the shelves. The side-street location keeps things quiet.
