Tirana International Hotel

Tirana

Right on Tirana's central square, this high-rise has rooms with fantastic city views. Management has done an impressive job refitting the public areas of what was the main tourist hotel during the communist era to look like a luxury hotel lobby, even if the rooms are somewhat less convincing (though cool wallpaper and good furniture make up for the low ceilings).

Staff are professional and friendly, and extras such as a sauna, gym and pool make this an attractive business choice.
