Mowafaq Hotel

Currently Herat’s largest hotel, the Mowafaq is a trusty standby and conveniently located between the Old City and the New Town. The good-sized rooms are clean but everything feels a bit tired and dusty. The pool hasn’t seen water in years. Get a room looking out to the minarets if you can.
