At the main park entrance, this attractive camp feels a bit like a village, with its lodges, grocery shop, museum, petrol station and restaurant. More importantly, it's also surrounded by wildlife, and the sounds of predators at night – making it a wonderful spot to stay. There's a good mix of self-catering lodges, cottages with communal kitchens, chalets (without bathroom) and campsites.
Game drives can be organised for those without vehicles. There are also decent national park lodges at Sinamatella Camp and Robins Camp, among others.
