Cafe Citron is one of DC’s most popular Latin-music clubs (in fairness, it plays everything, but the focus is on salsa, bachata et al). Girls dance, guys watch; the hours tick on. Late night it morphs into an all-dance crowd shaking it to mega-loud music. Nights out here can be fun, if only to observe the unfolding pick-up scene.
Instructors offer free Latin dance lessons at 8pm Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, and at 9pm on Friday.
