Embassy Inn

Washington, DC

The Embassy Inn shows up on hostel booking sites, which gives you an indication of its no-frills ambience. Rooms are small and dark with thin walls, but there’s a veneer of quaintness here. And the location rocks, flanked by the food-and-drink paradises of Dupont and Logan Circle. Wi-fi can be hit or miss.

Basically, the Embassy works in a pinch, when you turn up in town during a busy time and prices elsewhere are skewing sky high.
