Squeezed into an old town house with a cosmopolitan bar and romantic back room, the Village is as close as DC gets to Cuba. That's not particularly close, but you do get good, stiff mojitos here, and the music – salsa, meringue, mambo and bossa nova – packs the dance floor fairly often. Instructors give salsa lessons ($10) each evening at 7:30pm.
