General Muir

Decorated with B&W photography and New York–style subway tiling, the General Muir does Jewish deli par excellence. Bagels, latkes (potato pancakes), potatoes cooked in schmaltz (chicken liver), pastrami on rye and less deli-esque mains (poutine, anyone?), plus an extensive dinner menu featuring mains such as trout, hanger steak and stewed lentils.
