With large retractable doors and a lofty industrial ceiling, this former auto-repair shop is now a smart java bar, perhaps the hippest member of the Barista Parlor family. Just look at those wooden coffee menus, the mad-scientist brew station and the elevated drink prices. Kidding aside, these folks concoct appealingly complex brews ($4.50-7). Be sure to try the bourbon-vanilla espresso with milk.
