Suika

Originally from Vancouver, BC, this Suika izakaya-style bar and restaurant took over a space that was formerly a well-loved restaurant on Capitol Hill. It won over the neighborhood with well-executed traditional and fusion Japanese and Korean dishes, such as its spicy miso ramen with black garlic oil and unagi bibimbap (eel over rice with scallion and teriyaki).
