About 2 miles east of town, this 1745 property used to be the main way station for travelers between Albany and Hartford. Divided between three buildings, including one of the oldest schoolhouses in Connecticut (which was relocated to here in 1920), rooms have a private deck and pull-out couch (great for families), while the suites afford a wood-burning fireplace, canopy bed, fridge and bar.
