Lou's

A Dartmouth institution since 1947, this is Hanover's oldest establishment, always packed with students meeting for a coffee or perusing their books. From the retro tables or the Formica-topped counter, order typical diner food like eggs, sandwiches and burgers. Breakfast is served all day, and the bakery items are highly recommended (the bakery is open till 5pm, Monday to Saturday).
