Slocums has a classic pub-style bar and front room, and a large back dining room furnished more elegantly with red leatherette benches and a menu featuring mains such as filet mignon and surf and turf. The popular happy hour (4pm to 6pm, burgers only $4.75 and craft beers on tap for $4) is fun, with a mix of locals, seasonal workers and tourists.
