A splendid location on Pl de la Victoire makes this hotel in the former British Embassy worth considering despite being overpriced. The decorative overload at work in the foyer is fortunately kept at bay on the upper floors. Rooms are comfortable, with double-glazed windows and small bathrooms – ask for one at the front. Breakfast lets the side down.
