Hôtel Majestic

Tunis

Designed by Paul Baron in 1913 and renovated in 2011, the building is splendid but the hotel inside is a grave disappointment. Standard rooms are well sized and have amenities including satellite TVs, but lack style; superior rooms and suites are ugly and overpriced. The 1st-floor bar and restaurant has a terrace, but isn't particularly welcoming.
