The stone and marble rooms here, with good bathrooms and fridges, vaulted hallways decorated with old photos of Tataouine and an attractive outdoor garden, offer up good value. When we visited, a replica of Luke Skywalker's Tatooine house appeared to be under construction on the edge of the property. The attractive brick compound is around 2.5km southwest of town on the Chenini road.
