The opening of the Offra in 2016 pleasingly bucked the trend of closing resort hotels in southern Tunisia, and it's aimed mostly at the local market. Rooms have balconies (the best look out to the desert), and the fridges are a nice detail. Apart from the main building, bungalows cluster around the pool.
It all works, though the common areas are a little sterile. Half-board options are available.
