Camp Mars

A permanent tent camp deep in the dunes near Timbaine and only accessible by 4WD, this is just about the closest thing you can get to glamping in the Tunisian Sahara. The tents are cosy, and the food excellent. The camp uses dry toilets. There's a fire in the evening to settle around (with fresh campfire bread), followed by endless stargazing.
