A modern hotel designed to resemble a traditional ksar (fortified granary) from the outside, the Matmata has modern rooms, some with vaulted domed ceilings, tiled floors and colourful carpets, as well as simpler but spacious rooms in a separate annex. It's a little more modest than it hopes to be, but still good value.
