Almost directly across the street from Houmt Souk's amphitheatre, friendly Dar Faïza feels like the private villa of a once-prosperous family whose fortunes have taken a turn for the worse. There’s no denying the appeal of the small pool, but the rooms are musty, run down and overpriced. The on-site restaurant (mains 7DT to 18DT) is often empty.
