Dar Ben Abdallah

Cap Bon

A cross between a kids' summer camp and an Alpine ski lodge, Dar Ben Abdallah has a couple of two-storey freestanding wooden cabins and a huge bricked villa hugging the edges of a massive pool on delightful green grounds surrounded by hammocks and gazebos.

There's no wi-fi and little mobile-phone reception, so you'll feel properly off the grid and recharged. The owner speaks some English, but you'll need to brush up on your Arabic or French to talk to the staff.
