Posthumus

Medieval Centre & Red Light District

Established in 1865, this wonderfully preserved shop with original timber cabinetry produces lacquer stamps for wax seals (and sells sealing wax), brass branding stamps, shutter stamps for embossing, and rubber hobby stamps (with ink pads) in Dutch-themed designs such as gabled canal houses. Stamps can be made to order. It also has feathered, quill-like fountain pens and fine papers.
