Tonkin Annam

The retro-minimalist interior here might be a red flag for hipster ethnic cuisine, but Tonkin Annam serves some of the best Vietnamese food in Bangkok. Come for the phó (noodle soup), deliciously tart and peppery banana blossom salad, or dishes you won't find elsewhere, such as bánh bèo (steamed cups of rice flour topped with pork), a speciality of Hue.
