Ai Phuket Hostel

A popular, well-organised hostel in the heart of town. Doubles are tight but come with wood floors, vibrantly painted walls, black-and-white photos and, for two of the rooms, private bathrooms. Not all have windows, something of a Phuket Town trait. Dorms also lack windows but are colourful and clean, sleeping six (women-only) to eight. All share hot-water bathrooms and a kitchen.
