The Best Western brand comes to Zanzibar with this newly built five-storey hotel near the busy passenger ferry terminal. From the 'water wall' in the lobby to the rooftop bar-restaurant it's impressive and efficiently managed. Rooms are spotlessly clean and well-appointed, although on the functional side (some might say soulless), most with balconies overlooking the port and bay beyond.
