Elephant Motel has simple, pleasant rooms, a restaurant serving up decent meals, a children's playground and a campground. It’s on the main highway 1.5km southeast of town, and is a popular overnight stop for self-drivers between the coast and points west. It can also help with car hire for Mkomazi safaris and hikes in the southern Pare mountains.
