Nigina Avassronova's comparatively luxurious homestay has solar-heated showers and beds in bright, carpet-walled rooms. From the front yard, there's a lovely rural panorama of fields of yellow flowers edged with poplars. Nigina's farmstead is about an eight-minute walk west of the village school, on the lane that parallels the main road on the northern side of a low ridge.
