Every evening the small square opposite the Ayni Opera & Ballet Theatre comes alive with a throng of Dushanbe citizens and visitors, drawn to the breeze of the open space and the cool air circulated by the square's fountains. After dark, the fountains are transformed into a fun music and light show that rival the theatre in terms of drawing the crowds.
