Viktors Kaffe

Gothenburg

Slung with rotating exhibitions of local art, low-key, neighbourly Viktor pulls coffee geeks with its offering of Third-Wave brewing techniques, from V60 and Chemex to Aeropress. There's espresso for the traditionalists, and a rotating cast of beans from Nordic speciality roasters like Gothenburg's Per Nordby. A short list of bites (70kr to 115kr) includes croissants, fudge, sourdough-bread sandwiches and shakshouka.

Free wi-fi and a handful of power sockets make it a good place to work, though we prefer kicking back on the summertime deckchairs out the front.
