Sun House

This gracious old villa, built in the 1860s by a Scottish spice merchant, is located on the shady hill above the new town. The eight rooms vary in size, although even the smallest is a crisply decorated gem. There's a good collection of books to browse in the lounge, a lovely garden to enjoy and fine dining in the restaurant.
