Alberg Pic de l’Àliga

The Catalan Pyrenees

Fancy a cheap sleep 2122m above sea level? This youth hostel in a spacious lodge is perched at the top of the telecabina (cable car) whizzing up from Núria. Dorms sleep three to 18 people and it has a cafe, board games and a common room for mingling with other travellers.

The hostel has serious green credentials thanks to new solar panels and a geothermal heating system completed in 2019.

The cable car (return €6) runs from 9am to 5pm daily (9.15am to 6pm mid-July to mid-September), or you can walk up from Núria in 30 minutes.
