Asador de la Villa El Granero

Castilla y León

This well-signposted place, with a shop selling local food products at the front, is thought by many to be Medinaceli's best restaurant. The setas de campo (wild mushrooms) are something of a local speciality, though unsurprisingly, grilled and roasted meats dominate this bastion of hearty Castilian cooking. Book ahead on summer weekends and don't expect it to be open for dinner on winter weeknights.
