Around since 1942, this fine old Madrid bar is famous for its snails, served in a broth rich in garlic, chorizo, morcilla (blood sausage) and pimentón (paprika). Other specialities include pig's ear, pork knuckles and river crabs. It's also known for its vermouth, which, along with its location, makes it a prime stopover for many El Rastro regulars on Sundays.
