Refugio Vega de Ario

Picos de Europa

The Refugio Vega de Ario sleeps 40 people and is attended with meal service (breakfast €5, lunch or dinner €15) over Easter, summer and early autumn. It's at the end of the PREPNPE4 hiking route, which leads 7.6km southeast from Lago de la Ercina and takes about three hours (one-way).

Once here, you'll enjoy superb views across the Garganta del Cares (Cares Gorge) to the Picos' Macizo Central.
