Fresh Mediterranean tastes, switched-on waiters and an attractive stone-walled dining room make this a terrific choice a block from the Plaza Mayor. It's well known for its patatas bravas (roasted potatoes in a spicy tomato sauce), but the roasted meats are also perfectly cooked. Overall it has nailed that Spanish mantra: take the freshest ingredients and let them speak for themselves.
