Hacienda del Cardenal

This hotel restaurant enjoys one of Toledo's most magical locations for dining alfresco: it's tucked into a private garden entered via its own gate in the city walls. The food is classic Spanish, with roast meats to the fore – suckling pig and lamb are the prime dishes here. It's a bit touristy, but the location is unforgettable on a balmy summer's night.
