Torre Zumeltzegi

Basque Country

On a hillside adjacent to the town centre, Zumeltzegi occupies a restored fortified mansion dating from the 13th century. Its 12 unique rooms have beamed ceilings, stone walls and pretty views over town, and the peaceful terrace is a great spot to unwind. Also here is one of Oñati's best restaurants (mains €15 to €21), serving Basque and Spanish dishes.
