El Velódromo

The restoration of this history-steeped literary tavern by Barcelona brewer Moritz brought back a wonderfully atmospheric establishment. Stop in for an aperitif and tapas or more substantial dishes such as salmon with caramelised cabbage or a giant two-person entrecôte, from a menu devised by acclaimed chef Jordi Vilà. The spectacular high-ceilinged space retains many of its original art deco fittings.
